Kensington Astronomy at the Beach

A free event for kids of all ages.

This is the biggest science & astronomy event in SE MI. Activities include β€œWhat if there was no moon?” talk, 3D tour of the solar system, making a comet, crawl-inside planetarium, an impromptu play. And if the weather allows: more than 40 telescopes to see craters on the moon, the rings of Saturn and maybe even Pluto! It’s Sept 25 and 26 (6pm to midnight), and is free. This volunteer-led event is in its 19th year.
