Lady Eagles Cross Country Team Takes 9th Place at Regional Championships

Senior Morgan Bridgewater qualifies for the state finals.

The Lady Eagle Cross Country Team finished 9th in an extremely strong field in the regional championship at Huron Meadows. 

Senior Morgan Bridgewater ran a super race to finish in 6th place with a sparkling time of 18:38.37. 

Fellow senior Sara MacDonald finished the 5K course with a time of 19:44.05 for Lakeland. Sophomore Nicole Glover was next at 20:05.70 followed by Reighan Fisher with a time of 20:19.20.

Junior Maygan Houghton had a strong race with a time of 21:18.28. Senior Alex Imhoff came in at 21:24.81. Junior Chrissie McElwee ran a solid 22:05.35 over the hilly course. 

With the 6th place finish overall, Morgan Bridgewater qualifies for the state championship race next Saturday in Brooklyn.
