Up-scale international retailer L.K. Bennett, in its only Michigan location inside The Somerset Collection in Troy, will host a party on Thursday evening, April 10 to celebrate the most exciting Saturday in horse racing and the fashion staple associated with it — hats at the Kentucky Derby.
Expert stylist Raffaella Moda will showcase L.K. Bennett’s new spring fashions, while Rachelle Willnus of Derby Hats by Rachelle will be on hand to complement the fashions with a hat — or fascinator — perfect for race day.

L.K. Bennett’s Kentucky Derby Party and Spring Fashion Event will take place on Thursday, April 10 from 6 to 9 p.m. at The Somerset Collection – South (2801 West Big Beaver Road in Troy).
And as a way to give back to the community, 15 percent of all event sales will be donated back to the Heinz C. Prechter Bipolar Research Fund through the University of Michigan Hospital’s Depression Center.
