Man Shoved at Hank Williams Jr. Concert Pronounced Dead
Police will continue investigation pending an autopsy, then decide what, if any, charges 15-year-old will face in death of Robert Kobe, 55.
Robert Kobe, 55, of Westland was pronounced dead just after noon Tuesday of injuries he received when he was shoved to the concrete at a Hank Williams Jr. concert at the DTE Energy Music Theatre Sunday.
The Oakland County Sheriff’s Office said in a news release announcing Kobe’s death that their investigation is continuing, pending the completion of an autopsy.
A 15-year-old from Wayne was taken into custody, but has been released from the Oakland County Children’s Village.

Police said the investigation will determine what, if any, charges are appropriate.
Sheriff’s deputies found the victim in a pool of blood at the concert. Witnesses said the suspect tried to flee, but was detained by other concertgoers until police arrived. He was detained, and he and his father were taken to the Independence Township substation to be interviewed.

The victim was taken to McLaren Oakland Hospital in Pontiac, where he was pronounced dead at 12:04 p.m.
