Eighth Grade Game

In the eighth grade game, White Lake jumped off to a quick 5-2 lead, led by White Lake’s Ellis Her in the first quarter.

The small advantage, however, didn’t last as the Warrior offense struggled through the second quarter. With the Oak Valley team coming to life, the Hornets racked up 19 points during the second quarter while their defense effectively shut out the Warriors with a score of 21-5 as the teams headed to the locker rooms.

The second half saw White Lake’s Luke Krug-Evans hit a big 3-pointer in the final quarter, but it wasn’t enough for the team to rally and the Warrior's ended up with a sound defeat of 36-14 for the day.

Brenden Carter was high scorer for White Lake with four points while Nicholas Barron had ten to lead the Hornets.
