Oakland County Landlord Makes Disturbing Discovery
Autopsy will be performed to determine cause of death of man, who hadn't been seen by neighbors in about two weeks.
The owner of a rental property in Pontiac made a gruesome discovery when he attempted to evict his tenant about 3 p.m.Monday.
The 55-year-old man’s body was found in the back of a closet at the property in the 300 block of Prospect, according to an Oakland County Sheriff’s Office report. The man had been dead for some time, and neighbors told deputies and detectives who responded to the property owner’s 911 call that they hadn’t seen him for about two weeks.
The Oakland County Sheriff’s Office will conduct an autopsy to determine the cause of death. A positive identification of the man is pending.
