Oakland County Man Pleads Guilty To Threatening To Kill Judge
A White Lake man, who is already serving prison time for sexual assault, wrote a threatening letter to a judge, officials said.
WHITE LAKE, MI — An Oakland County man serving prison time for sexual assault can expect his sentence to be extended after threatening a judge, according to Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel.
Christopher Shenberger, 43, of White Lake pleaded guilty to one count of attempted false report or threat of terrorism for threatening Ingham County Judge Joyce Draganchuk in December 2021. He will be sentenced on Dec. 13 in Ingham County.
Officials said Shenberger wrote a letter to Draganchuk, complaining about potentially being denied parole for not completing his required sex offender program.

Shenberger wrote in the letter that if he had to serve the maximum sentence he would put "everyone’s name on that docket" on a slip of paper and it will "go into a jar or whatever and who’s ever name [is picked] up will be killed plain and simple," officials said.
Shenberger is currently serving a sexual assault sentence of up to 15 years at the Carson City Correctional Facility. He was sentenced in 2016.
