Oakland Youth Orchestras continues 40th Season with Winter Concert
Oakland Youth Orchestras (OYO) continues the celebration of its 40th Anniversary Concert season on February 5, 2015 at 6:30 pm

The concert will take place at the Oxford Fine Arts Center located at Oxford High School, 745 N. Oxford Road in Oxford, MI.
This concert, Celebrate Our Students, will honor students of the past, present and future by featuring winners from the 2014 OYO Solo Competition. Performances by violinist Joseph Gray of Waterford, the 2014 Teresa Schuster Memorial Award winner, and violinist William Zhou of Troy, winner of the 2014 Philharmonia Solo Competition, will be featured.
In addition, OYOβs four orchestras will be performing works by Tchaikovsky, Brahms, Rimsky-Korsakov, Rossini and more. OYO has a roster of over 350 students, ranging in age from 7 to 18, from throughout southeast Michigan.
Tickets will be available at the door: Adults - $10, children and students - $5 and ticket quartets (four tickets) - $30.
