Oakside Scholars Charter Academy welcomes interested parents to learn more about the new charter school, opening in Waterford this fall, on Thursday, June 27, by attending one of two enrollment information meetings. At the meetings, parents will be able to learn more about the educational benefits, and integrated moral focus program Oakside Scholars provides. Principal Kathleen Grinwis will talk about her vision for Oakside and answer any questions.
National Heritage Academies also manages Walton Charter Academy, a K-8 school located in Pontiac. Walton has provided a quality, tuition-free education for local students since 1999.
Oakside Scholars Charter Academy will be a tuition-free public charter school that will serve students in grades kindergarten through fifth for the 2013-2014 school year.
