Photo Gallery: Lakeland's Alex Sokoll at Wrestling State Finals

Alex Sokoll was the lone Lakeland wrestler to compete in the individual state finals at the Palace of Auburn Hills last week. He lost his first match to Ben Dominguez of Southgate Anderson 15-2, but rebounded strong and beat Jadon Cook from Grosse Pointe North with a pin late in the third round.

In his final match as a Lakeland Eagle, Senior Sokoll lost to Lucas Luchonok from Dearborn Edsel Ford in a tough battle, 8-5. Sokoll was 42-13 in his senior season.
