Target, Maggiano's, Malls Hungry for Seasonal Help

Metro Detroit retailers are hungry for seasonal workers to get them through the holiday rush.

With the unemployment rate in Michigan around 5 percent, it’s an employees’ market.

Scores of jobs have been added to the Patch Jobs Board in the past week. Among those hiring are Target, which has openings throughout the area; Maggiano’s of Troy, which is gearing up for the busy holiday season; and almost every shopping mall you can think of.

To sweeten the pot a bit, there are many chocolatier jobs open as well.

Many of these jobs are part-time, meaning you can couple them with your regular 9-to-5 or classwork and pull in some extra holiday cash.
