Teachers! Win a class field trip to SEA LIFE Michigan Aquarium

Teachers (grades five and under) can submit 50-100 word essay by Monday, March 21 on Facebook

SEA LIFE Michigan Aquarium is offering teachers (grades five and under) the chance to win a field trip for their classroom through its Classroom Sweepstakes running from today through Monday, March 21. SEA LIFE Michigan Marketing Manager Debbie Gibb made the announcement.

Available through SEA LIFE Michigan’s Facebook page, teachers can submit a 50-100-word essay explaining why their classroom deserves to win. The grand prize winner will receive a field trip to SEA LIFE Michigan Aquarium, where students will get a full tour and participate in an educational workshop. The runner-up will receive a classroom visit from a senior aquarist who will bring a traveling touch tank with sea creatures right to the classroom. Winners of the sweepstakes will be selected at random and will be announced no later than March 22.

β€œOne of SEA LIFE Michigan’s most important missions is to educate children about the amazing creatures in our world’s oceans and the Great Lakes, and how they can play an active role in protecting them and their habitats,” said Gibb. β€œThe Classroom Sweepstakes is a fun way to engage local schools, and provide a unique opportunity for students to learn.”
