As Temperatures Plummet, Huron Valley Schools Make Decision on School Friday
Thursday night could bring record-breaking cold temperatures to the area.

Huron Valley schools will not be in session Friday due to extreme cold.
The National Weather Service has extended its wind chill warning until 10 a.m. Friday for Oakland, Macomb, Wayne, Livingston and Genesee, Washtenaw counties.
WJBK-TV said records could fall with the mercury Thursday night with forecasted temperatures of -12 degrees. Clear skies could allow temperatures to fall even lower, to -20, in some areas.

The record low for Feb. 20 is -8, set in 1934.
Friday’s high will be around 10. Saturday looks to be significantly warmer, with a high around 31, but 1-3 inches of snow could fall overnight Friday into Saturday.
