No child should ever go hungry. But right here in southeast Michigan one in four children face hunger. There kids need a hero...and that’s where you come in!
104.3 WOMC will be broadcasting from Gleaners Food Bank on Wednesday, January 28, 2015 from 6 am to 8pm to raise money to fight hunger.
Every dollar given will be matched and provide six meals for a hungry child.
Supporters will have a chance to win special prizes when making a pledge, including: tickets to sporting events, concerts, dining certificates, an MGM Grand Package with hotel and dinner and more.
All who pledge to make an annual commitment of $20/month will become a Hunger Hero and receive an official “2015 an official t-shirt.
