7th Annual Harvest Moon Ball: Oct. 24

WYANDOTTE – The 7th Annual Harvest Moon Ball, which benefits the emergency department at Henry Ford Wyandotte Hospital, takes place 6:30 – 11p.m. Friday Oct. 24 at the MGM Grand Detroit Hotel.

The evening will include cocktails, dinner, live entertainment provided by Intrigue and package raffles as well as a diamond raffle.
The funds generated from this year’s Harvest Moon Ball will support improvements in the emergency department at Henry Ford Wyandotte Hospital. The department wants to provide a quieter environment for its more critical care patients, as well as treat less critical patients quicker. This would include some structural changes in the department.

At the Harvest Moon Ball, cocktails, hors d’oeuvres and package raffle begin at 6:30 p.m., followed by dinner at 7:15 p.m. Remarks and awards start at 8:15 p.m.

This year’s award recipients are:
• The Rosie Meyer Community Volunteer Award: Henry Ford Wyandotte Hospital Auxiliary
• The BASF Community Leadership Award: Peter and Janelle Rose (Woodhaven)
• Joseph L. Cahalan Physician Star of Excellence Award: Shehadeh Harb, M.D. (Grosse Ile)
