Body Pulled From Detroit River Believed To Be Missing Downriver Man: Police
Police said the physical description and clothing on the body matched those of Tyler Bojanowski, who had been missing since Feb. 5.

ECORSE, MI — The body of a missing Wyandotte man was found in the Detroit River in Ecorse on Monday, according to family members.
Officials pulled the body of 25-year-old Tyler Bojanowski from the river in John Dingell Park on Monday, according to family members.
Police did not identify the man but did say the physical description and clothing on the body matched those of Bojanowski.

"It is with heavy hearts that we share the body found today at Dingell Park is, in fact, Tyler," the group said in a post. "We are deeply upset that this information was released publicly before many of Tyler’s family had the chance to be notified."
He had been last seen at roughly 2:30 a.m. on Feb. 5 near the pink Best Western in Allen Park, according to police.

Investigators later found his truck on Enterprise Drive in Allen Park, near the pink Best Western Greenfield Inn near Interstate 94.
It was unclear how he ended up in the water, but his mother said in a Facebook post that Tyler recently suffered a traumatic brain injury.
His family also said that his passport was found at John Dingell Park in Ecorse on Friday, Feb. 6.
