Downriver Council for the Arts hosts regular lectures, including one on the art and life of artist Albert Bierstadt. He was born in Germany, but is best known for painting pictures of the American west and landscapes.
Tickets are $15, or $10 for DCA members, or $5 for full-time students with valid ID.
