About our Graphic Design Apprentice Camp: The basics of color theory, typography, page layout, and logo design; and that's just the beginning.

Students leave with their very own portfolio and sketchbook. This is a traditional design class where the importance of concept, development, and creation is taught.

Instructor:
Adrienne Trupiano-Stepaniak earned her degree from the Savannah College of Art and Design in 2000, since then she has worked as a traditional graphic designer as well as a motion graphic designer, an art director, and a college instructor. From September to June, you can find Adrienne teaching advertising and animation at College for Creative Studies in Detroit or at Henry Ford Community College where she teaches animation, photoshop, and history of graphic design.

Classroom Collaborator:
Martha Laviolette taught language arts for many years, but her all time favorite years of teaching, were at Wilson Middle School in Wyandotte. Mrs. Laviolette had a special connection with her students; they sent her post cards from family vacations and attended her after school knitting club. Since retiring from Wyandotte Public Schools in 2010 where she taught language arts, Martha has rediscovered a passion for painting and baking.
