Free Breast Exams and Mammograms at Henry Ford Wyandotte Hospital Oct. 4
WYANDOTTE – Free mammograms will be available from 7:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 4, at Henry Ford Wyandotte Hospital, 2333 Biddle Ave.

The Yes Ma’am breast cancer screening program began in 1999 to provide free mammograms for Downriver women without screening mammography health insurance coverage.

To date, thanks to the Yes Ma’am programs, health care professionals have performed more than 1,000 free mammograms in the Downriver community.

Women must meet certain criteria to receive a mammogram:
• no screening mammography health insurance coverage

• Mammogram necessity determined by physician at time of exam

This is only a screening program. Patients with additional needs will be referred to alternative program.

Pre-registration and appointment is required. Women will be seen by appointment from 7:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. For additional information and to schedule an appointment, call 734-246-9601.
