Henry Ford Wyandotte Hospital Unveils Makeover Plan
The medical center revealed the 3-part project last week, and the renovations should be complete in 2017.

Henry Ford Wyandotte Hospital unveiled plans last week for a makeover of the medical facility that should take about two years to complete.

The renovations were introduced at a ribbon-cutting event Feb. 25, according to a News-Herald report. The first phase of work will update and redesign the hospital’s entrance, lobby and reception area, as well as add a Subway restaurant, according to the report.

The next phase will deal with the emergency room and physical rehabilitation center, and the final part will handle the patient towers, the report stated. Work is scheduled to be finished some time in 2017, the report added.
