So, I’m feelin’ and sharin’ the love on this Groundhog Day for I must do something to create some warmth as Winter still looms large.
Yesterday’s return to Winter was not welcome for me and the walking shoes are mothballed once again.
A beautiful Winter day – it gave me miles and a smile.
Is it still Winter on this balmy and breezy day?
Sometimes you just have to stop and take it all in and not rush around.
It was like old times again, even if the regular gang was missing.
Rain spoiled my walk this morning, but I’m loving the mild temps.
Winter marches on, but I’ve resumed the walking regimen ... for now.
I hear the weekend might be tad warmer – I’d welcome that, wouldn’t you?
I’m sure I’m not alone in saying Spring cannot get here quickly enough.
For a minute I thought we skipped ahead to Spring ...
Feeling a little fed up with our Winter? A little bird did NOT tell me so ...
Woo hoo – we got above 20 degrees for the first time since Christmas Day!
Winter is getting old, but I’m buoyed by the chatter about a January thaw by mid-week.
Yup, you’d be happy too if your footprints were on a white sandy beach, instead of the snow ... just sayin’.

Knowing we’re heading toward the Summer Solstice is a nice thought, but it’s a long journey and provides no comfort at the present time.
I sure hope the snow and cold we’ve endured thus far in December does not set the tone for the balance of the Winter season.
I hope all your Christmas memories are as fond as this one is to me.
Today’s miles were filled with smiles and started my day off just right.
Today’s snow – if you blinked you might have missed it, though it is still lingering a little on the lawn.
Sometimes it’s okay to go glam and make an attention-seeking entrance, but other times ... you just crave those creature comforts.
Three and one-half miles yesterday and another four miles today, plus a visit to my favorite nature nook. Who could ask for more?
The snow is melting fast – it’s feeling almost tropical out there.

You learn something new every day ...
These boots may not be as trendy as Uggs, but they gave me the ability to roam in the snow and say “ugh” to the white stuff.
Snow, snow go away – come again another day!
The wonderful clear and dry weather was not destined to last forever, as much as I want to will that snow away.
Today was a cold and bright and sunny day – if only that pesky snow would stay away!
Sadly, this morning’s snow is just a preview of Winter which doesn’t arrive for two more weeks ...
Sometimes a rainy and windy day provides a break from the routine and a chance to escape back to the past ...

A dash through the neighborhood and around the perimeter path to glean steps toward my final goal.
Tomorrow I will cross that 950-miles-walked threshold – then I’ll need only 50 more miles to reach my newest goal of 1,000 miles walked.
This warmish sunny day was the talk of the town today.
Our Thanksgiving holiday is over much too fast and no matter what you did, hopefully you were surrounded by those people who make you happy.
So … rain – what rain? Patience is a virtue because I added another six miles to my total.
The power of peanuts!
