Michigan Opera Theatre Performers to Sing

Special Entertainment for Seniors at Copeland

The Wyandotte Seniors are inviting all seniors to come down for about an hour to enjoy this special free performance at the William R. Copeland Center.  The Mary Thompson Foundation and Michigan Opera Theatre proudly present selections from The American Songbook, a lively and entertaining revue of songs from the American Musical Theater.  Michigan Opera Theatre vocalist Maria Cimarelli and Mark Vondrak will have you tapping your toes while enjoying a musical stroll down memory lane as you enjoy the music of Irving Berlin, George Gershwin and more.   This musical tour will include a special tribute to Arthur Freed, song lyricist and movie musical producer extraordinaire.

The performance is sponsored through a generous grant from the Mary Thompsong Foundation and we are fortunate to have this performance brought to our seniors to enjoy at no cost!!  Some of you may even wish to stick around and meet some of the Senior Friendship Club members who have their social at 6:00 pm. and join in some more fun.
