Preschool Registration Begins April 2 in Wyandotte
Free and tuition-based morning and afternoon classes are available for 3- and 4-year-olds.

Registration for 2012-13 preschool will begin on April 2 for children who will be 4 by Dec. 1.
offer the Michigan Department of Education’s Great Start Readiness Program, which has half-day sessions in both the morning and afternoon.
The free program, which is funded by the state Department of Education, serves children and families who are identified as needing early learning support.

The classes are held at , and elementary schools, as well as .
Registration packets will be available at any of the district's four elementary schools or by calling 734-759-5052.

A preschool open house is set for April 19.
In addition to the free preschool, the district also offers tuition-based preschool for 3-year-olds and for 4-year-olds who don't qualify for the state program.
All of the classes are for Wyandotte residents only.
