"Care" explores home caregiving through the eyes of both paid workers and their elderly clients. Story reveals cracks in an outdated system.

Join local filmmakers Deirdre Fishel and Tony Heriza as they present their film "Care", a movie that reveals the cracks in an outdated system that simply can't keep up with the aging population that will double over the next two decades. The film follows the stories of care workers and their clients to illustrate the effect of this issue on real people. People like Peter, a brilliant report and CBS executive, who traveled the world until a vicious form of Parkinson's changed everything. His wife Toni, who was looking forward to retirement and traveling with her husband, is now struggling to keep him at home and on the verge of financial ruin. Dee is an independent business woman and early revisit who never married or had children. Even though she did everything right and saved up for her old age, she still can't make ends meet.
