Wyandotte's Justin Hicks Makes 2013 PGA Tour
Justin Hicks officially earned his PGA Tour card Sunday, finishing among the top 25 money winners on the Web.com tour.

Wyandotte native and professional golfer Justin Hicks qualified for the 2013 PGA Tour on Sunday.
Hicks, who also celebrated his 38th birthday Sunday, earned his PGA Tour card by finishing 11th among the money winners on the Web.com tour, earning $277,159. The top 25 money winners on the 27-event tour, which ended Sunday in Texas, earn PGA Tour cards.
This year marked the sixth time Hicks played on the Web.com tour, formerly known as the Nationwide Tour. He has 28 career starts on the PGA Tour.

“Like a lot of things with this game, sometimes things don’t just happen the first time around for me," Hicks said in a written statement. "And hopefully this time, I will be a little bit more knowledgeable about what to expect and hopefully my results will take care of themselves.”
Hicks played collegiate golf at University of Michigan and earlier this summer he played in the U.S. Open.
