You've Got Photos: 2012 Wyandotte Football Parents' Night
Parents of the Wyandotte Roosevelt varsity football players and cheerleaders were recognized before Thursday's home opening game.
Before 's home opening varsity football game Thursday, parents of both the players and cheerleaders were honored.
Each student athlete escorted his or her parents, or guardians, onto the field, following an introduction by the stadium announcer. The parents also were presented with a flower as a token of appreciation.
The purpose of the annual ceremony is to recognize parents for their tireless efforts and for the sacrifices they make in support of their student athletes.

Parents also were rewarded with a Thursday night as the Bears went on to defeat Taylor Kennedy 36-0.
