'Unruly Behavior And Altercations' At Valleyfair Send 1 To Hospital

SHAKOPEE, MN — One person is injured and multiple guests were removed from the Valleyfair parking lot Monday due to "unruly behavior and altercations," a spokesperson for the park said in a statement shared with Patch.

Police didn't make any arrests and don't yet know what led up to the altercations, the park said, noting a minor was taken to a hospital with an injury that was not life-threatening.

Valleyfair wrote on its website that the policy was introduced in response to "increasing incidents of unruly and inappropriate behavior across our industry and at other major entertainment venues" over the past two years.

"This policy is being put in place to ensure that all guests have the best time ever and leave happy and eager to visit again," according to the park.
