2 Dogs Shot And Killed In Sherburne County: Police

The dogs were shot by a neighbor, according to police.

SHERBURNE COUNTY, MN — Two dogs were killed by a neighbor Friday in Sherburne County, according to police.

Law enforcement responded to a home in the Princeton area after a man reported his neighbor shot his dogs, police said.

The neighbor told deputies the dogs were chasing deer on his property and when he went outside to yell at the dogs, they started coming at him, according to police. He said he shot at the dogs to scare them because they were aggressive, according to police.
