27-Year-Old Dies After Being Trapped In Grain Bin: Police
A 62-year-old was also trapped but had freed himself by the time first responders arrived, according to Yellow Medicine County authorities.

YELLOW MEDICINE COUNTY — A 27-year-old died after he and another man became trapped in a grain bin in southwest Minnesota, according to police.
The Yellow Medicine County Sheriff’s Office responded around 9:30 a.m. Tuesday to a call of two people trapped in the bin northeast of Porter, police said. It took rescuers about an hour to remove enough grain to reach the 27-year-old, who did not survive the incident, according to police.
A 62-year-old man was also trapped but had freed himself by the time first responders arrived, and was taken to a hospital and later released, police said. An emergency crew member was also brought to the hospital with heat-related injuries, according to police.
