3 Found Dead At Resort In Breezy Point

BREEZY POINT, MN — Police are investigating after three people were found dead at a resort in Breezy Point Tuesday evening.

At about 8:50 p.m., the Breezy Point Police Department responded to a call for help at Whitebirch Resort on the 8400 block of Whitebirch Drive. Officers found three people dead.

"Based on the preliminary investigation, there is no indication of any ongoing threat to the public," police said in a statement.

No other details were released. The identities of the deceased are being withheld until family members are notified.

The investigation remains active. Breezy Point police are being assisted by the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension and the Crow Wing County Sheriff's Office.
