On Tuesday night before the Orono vs. Mound-Westonka game, referee Chris Jessen said that players and refs were standing on the ice for the national anthem, but another song started playing through the speakers.

As the audio team attempted to correct the situation, Jessen says instead of awkwardly waiting he asked if he could have the mic. He then sang the national anthem himself.
