Demetrius Wynne To Be Sentenced Thursday For Killing Susan Spiller

Sentencing is Thursday for a man convicted of killing his neighbor inside her Minneapolis home.

Last month, a jury found Demetrius Wynne guilty of killing Susan Spiller in 2015.

Minnesota guidelines call for a 25-and-a-half-year sentence, but prosecutors asked for 30 years. The judge believed 30 years was appropriate, but balanced it with the fact that he was a child at the time of the crime, which is why he departed in duration by three years.
