Police say the man didn't have a phone inside the mobile home, and they were unable to communicate with him for hours.

Blaine police say a man was arrested Monday night after a five-hour-long standoff at a mobile home park.

Officers reported to a domestic assault call just after 3 p.m. at the Restwood Terrace Mobile Home park on the 9100 block of Tippecanoe Street Northeast. A woman reportedly fled the residence at some point with a child, telling police the man threatened her with a knife. A second child was left inside with him.
Police say the man didn’t have a phone inside the mobile home, and they were unable to communicate with him for hours. They were also advised that he may be armed with a gun.
