Man Shot Dead Inside East St. Paul Auto Body Shop

St. Paul police say a man was fatally shot Tuesday afternoon in an east side auto body shop.

Officers were called to the business on the 1300 block of Arcade Street just after 3:30 p.m., where they found the victim suffering for several gunshot wounds. Despite live-saving efforts, the man was pronounced dead at the scene.

Investigators don’t believe the shooting was random, and they’re asking for anyone who was in the area between 3:30 p.m. and 3:45 p.m. to call police at 651-266-5650. They are also looking for surveillance video from homes and businesses in the area.
