Man, Woman And 2 Dogs Found Dead In Home Near Detroit Lakes: Police

LAKE VIEW TOWNSHIP, MN — A man, a woman and two dogs were found dead Tuesday in a home near Detroit Lakes, according to police.

Law enforcement received a call shortly after 9 a.m. seeking assistance at an address in the 25300 block of County Highway 6 in Lake View Township, police said. Upon arrival, authorities discovered a man, a woman and two dogs, all deceased, according to police.

“While this investigation is ongoing and in its early stages, the incident appears to be an isolated event and there are no ongoing concerns for public safety at this time,” Becker County Sheriff Todd Glander said in a news release.

The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension sent a team to the scene and the remains of the man and woman were to be taken to the Ramsey County Medical Examiner’s Office for autopsies and identification, police said.
