MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — The Minnesota Department of Health says state and county contract tracers are struggling to keep up with how fast COVID-19 is spreading.

Officials says it’s seeing a backlog of about 5,000 cases per day, and it’s ramping up its staffing to help.
