Minnesota Teacher Accused Of Sexual Conduct With Elementary Students

The teacher has been placed on paid administrative leave, according to the school district, which said it is fully cooperating with police.

BENSON, MN — An elementary school teacher in rural Benson is accused of sexual conduct involving students as young as 7, according to reports.

Rober Ebnet was arrested Friday and charged with second-degree criminal sexual conduct, according to Benson police. Ebnet is identified on the Benson school district website as an elementary teacher.

Video taken Thursday showed Ebnet, 59, place a young student’s hand under his groin while other children were turned away with their eyes closed, KSTP reported. In another instance, Ebnet put a boy’s hands in front of Ebnet’s groin and Ebnet moved his groin toward the child, according to KSTP, which reported that a Nov. 30 video showed similar events.
