MN Boy, 13, Killed In 'Haunted Hayride' Accident: Sheriff
The deadly accident happened at the annual Harvest of Horror Haunted Hayride in St. Augusta, Minnesota, authorities said.

ST AUGUSTA, MN — A 13-year-old boy was killed on Saturday in an accident involving a hayride in rural central Minnesota, according to authorities.
On Oct. 12 at 7:37 p.m., the Stearns County Sheriff’s Office received a call reporting an accident at the annual Harvest of Horror Haunted Hayride in St. Augusta.
A teen boy had been injured when he was run over by a trolley wagon being pulled by a tractor, according to authorities. Staff, bystanders, and first responders at the event provided aid.

The St. Augusta Fire Department and Mayo Ambulance service also responded to the scene.
Lifesaving efforts continued but were ultimately unsuccessful and Alexander Mick, 13, of Rice, was pronounced deceased at the scene, authorities said.
