Minneapolis police say they are investigating a deadly hit-and-run crash Tuesday afternoon as a homicide.

Officers were called to the 3100 block of Queen Avenue North at about 2:32 p.m. on a report of motorcyclist that was struck by another vehicle in an alleyway. The man wasn’t breathing and didn’t have a pulse, and was officially pronounced dead at Hennepin Healthcare.
Later Tuesday, another hit-and-run occurred about 2 miles northeast of this incident, at 40th Avenue and Sixth Street. A driver hit a child, who was injured, but expected to survive.
