MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — A Waseca police officer shot in the head during a standoff in January told his friends and family Wednesday that he’ll see them soon.

Arik Matson has been through several surgeries and extensive rehabilitation. A post by his wife on CaringBridge says he has made strides during rehab in Nebraska.
