Over 45 Percent Of MN Under Drought Conditions
Drought conditions improved slightly in Minnesota over the past week, and more relief is expected in the coming days.

MINNESOTA — Just over 45 percent of the state of Minnesota is suffering under drought conditions, according to the U.S. Drought Monitor.
That's down from where it was last week, at about 52 percent of the state, thanks to heavy rainfall.
However, about 19 percent of the state is still under "severe drought" conditions, and around 4 percent is experiencing an "extreme" drought.
