Police Identify Woman Beheaded In Shakopee
Authorities charged a 42-year-old man in the woman's death.
SHAKOPEE, MN — A woman who was found decapitated Wednesday has been identified as a Shakopee resident. The man accused in her death has been arrested, authorities said.
America M. Thayer, 55, was killed on Spencer Street South in Shakopee, authorities said. She was identified by the Hennepin County Medical Examiner’s Office, which ruled her death a homicide.
Alexis Saborit, 42, faces a charge of second-degree intentional murder in her death. He is being held on a $2.5 million bail at Scott County Jail.
