Sen. Tina Smith Of MN Tests Positive For COVID-19
Tina Smith, Minnesota's junior senator, previously tested positive for the virus back in July.

MINNESOTA — U.S. Sen. Tina Smith said she's staying in Minnesota following a positive test for COVID-19. The state's junior senator said she is experiencing mild symptoms and is following CDC guidelines.
"I tested positive for COVID this morning after developing mild symptoms Sunday night. I’ll stay here in Minnesota while following CDC guidelines," she said in a statement.
"As COVID cases increase, everyone should look into getting their updated booster shot and ordering free COVID tests through USPS."

Smith previously tested positive for the virus back in July, when she said she was "incredibly grateful to be vaccinated and boosted."
