Stimulus Check Latest: Timeline For When Americans Could Receive Next Payment

(CBS Detroit) — Another round of stimulus checks would go a long way toward propping up the sagging U.S. economy. But Democrats and Republicans couldn’t quite agree on a deal that would make stimulus payments and additional unemployment aid a reality. And on Wednesday, President Trump “instructed my representatives to stop negotiating until after the election.”

Nancy Pelosi is asking for $2.4 Trillion Dollars to bailout poorly run, high crime, Democrat States, money that is in no way related to COVID-19. We made a very generous offer of $1.6 Trillion Dollars and, as usual, she is not negotiating in good faith. I am rejecting their...

So stimulus checks will have to wait until at least November, if not longer. Or not…

Later Wednesday, President Trump expressed support for a standalone bill issuing $1,200 stimulus checks to Americans.
