MINNEAPOLIS — College students with a tendency to stay out late and skip their studies to spend more time living an active social life may want to avoid the following schools in Minnesota. Their lively party scenes might prove to be much of a temptation.

According to Niche, the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities is the top "party school" in the state. It's also the 65th-best party school in the nation, according to the report.

Niche's rankings are based on student surveys, access to bars and restaurants, campus Greek life, and the school's athletics. Read the full methodology here.

UMN is the state's only Big Ten university, and it is also home to DinkyTown's robust bar scene and Greek life.
