Woman, 19, Dies After Car Crashes Into Trees In Southern Minnesota

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — Authorities say a 19-year-old driver died Saturday in southern Minnesota after her car went off road and slammed into trees.

The Le Sueur County Sheriff’s Office says the crash happened around 3 p.m. on County Road 23 in Kasota Township, just north of Mankato.

Emergency crews extricated the driver from the vehicle. She was identified as 19-year-old Raquel Elizabeth Stutsman, of Le Sueur.
