Woman Killed, Kids Injured In Bus-Car Collision Near Twin Cities
The crash happened just before 8 p.m. Tuesday night.

CARVER COUNTY, MN — A 21-year-old woman was killed and two children were injured in a crash involving a bus and car in Carver County Tuesday night.
Just before 8 p.m., a school bus going northbound on County Road 31 made a left turn onto westbound Highway 212. A Cadillac CTS going eastbound on Highway 212 and collided with the school bus in the intersection, the Minnesota State Patrol said.
The driver of the Cadillac — Ellen E. Follestad, of Glencoe — was transported to Hennepin Healthcare, where she died.

Two boys on the bus — age 12 and 14 — suffered non-life-threatening injuries. Only the 12-year-old was hospitalized. The 78-year-old bus driver was not injured.
Conditions were dry at the time of the crash, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.
