• STMA School Board recognizes longtime art teacher, sets preliminary tax levy (hometownsource.com) — Albertville-area residents should know the St. Michael-Albertville School Board approved a preliminary 3.29% property tax levy for 2027 and set its truth-in-taxation hearing for Dec. 7. The board also honored longtime art teacher Kari Halker-Saathoff for major state awards, advanced its assistant superintendent search, and heard updates on ongoing bus driver shortages and the popular BusWhere tracking app.
