Man Arrested After Women Killed In Rosemount By Falling Rock
The boulder fell off of a commercial vehicle and killed two women, authorities said.

ROSEMOUNT, MN — A Hastings man has been arrested after two women died Monday when a boulder fell off a commercial vehicle onto another car. The incident happened on Rich Valley Road just south of 125th Street just after 4:30 p.m.
A commercial vehicle was driving south when the rock came loose, hitting a Toyota Avalon, authorities said.
Karen Christiansen, 67, and her 32-year-old daughter Jena Christiansen, both residents of Shoreview, died at the scene. The two died from "blunt force head trauma," the Hennepin County Medical Examiner ruled.

Joe Czeck, 33, who owns Czeck Services was arrested Wednesday, Rosemount police announced. Authorities say Czeck is the driver of the truck involved in the deadly incident.

Police say charges against Czeck are pending.
