22-Year-Old Rosemount Man Killed In Highway 52 Crash

The other driver in the crash suffered life-threatening injuries.

GOODHUE COUNTY, MN — A crash in Minneola Township early Thursday left a 22-year-old Rosemount man dead. According to the Minnesota State Patrol, a 1995 Buick LeSabre was headed southbound on Highway 52. Meanwhile, a 2012 Ford Fusion was headed northbound.

Authorities say just before 5:50 a.m., the Buick left the roadway and went through the median and the vehicles collided. Road conditions were snowy and icy during the time of the collision.

The driver of the Buick died in the crash.

The driver of the Ford, 76-year-old Cletus Ralph Pfeiffer, of Rochester, suffered life-threatening injuries and was transported to Mayo Clinic Hospital (Saint Mary's Campus).

The Minnesota State Patrol says it will release the identity of the Rosemount man Friday.
